Then find the lead. The bubble over the stamp only says what the measurements allow, so a loud line there means the blocks themselves got loud, not that anyone is guessing.

The walls keep the receipts. The almanac holds the shift, the gas math holds the minute, the tap sheet holds the shares, and the shift sheet holds the plumbing. Trust them over your impression.

And trust the blanks. An empty slot means the floor has not seen that number yet, which is the only honest thing a screen can say before the data lands.
